Festival of Plays (Dec 2025)

What an unforgettable evening at the Festival of Plays 2025, which was hosted at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre in Tottenham, London.

On Saturday 6 December 2025, audiences gathered for a vibrant night of live theatre, celebrating an exciting programme of short plays by our young and emerging actors and actresses.

From gripping drama and sharp comedy to moving real-life stories, the Festival of Plays showcased bold storytelling and powerful performances that explored culture, identity, and lived experience.

The Black Arts Productions Festival of Plays continues to be an important theatre show for BAP, paving the way for talent, and empowering creatives to take ownership of the craft via scriptwriting and directing.

This time we gave our adult class actors the opportunity to collaborate on stage with the junior class. The energy in the room, the connection between artists and audience, and the strength of the work on stage made this December's festival truly special and relatable.

We are incredibly proud of every writer and actor who took part. A huge congratulations to the winning play, which will go on to be produced by Black Arts Productions.
